Our laboratory utilizes an ultra-high vacuum scanning tunneling microscope (UHV-STM, Omicron Polar model) operating at 4 K to investigate the atomic structures and electronic properties of two-dimensional (2D) materials.

Quartz Tube Vacuum Sealing system
Our lab utilizes a rotary quartz tube vacuum sealing system from BALAB, which allows for vacuum sealing down to 10-6 Pa using an oxyhydrogen flame torch. This vacuum sealing system allows us to synthesize various van der Waals crystals through chemical vapor transport (CVT)
